As someone who lives everyday with hydrocephalus and it's associated problems I KNOW that living with no brain is NOT possible.

i recon it is some doctors have no brain. they're "brainless-washed" in an educational system mostly if not all pharmaceutical based. i've had 28 operations which 24 have been on or for my brain and i have been misdiagnosed ONE HUNDRED PERCENT of the time!!!

I was diagnosed at 3 mths and have at least one family member in my genealogy who was also born with hydrocephalus. I do think that some people confuse microcephaly with hydrocephalus, which is where the misinformation comes in. I do recall being denied health insurance by a company, yrs ago, and being told that I couldn't be who I said I was because "you don't sound retarded enough to have hydrocephalus". They also had a problem with me not having revisions every 12-18 mths. There is a lot of misinformation out there!

It's such a shame that something that could have done so much good has seemingly now done the opposite. The fact the name of the program was purely based on the "wow" factor to gain viewers, completely over shadowed what could have been a very informative story about a family and their lovely child dealing with Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus.

I also was born early and diagnosed with hydrocephalus. Its crazy how someone thinks that people like me were born without a brain! How would we be able to function and survive! Obviously this person needs to be educated!

I take offence at Channel 5 basically calling people with hydrocephalus brainless. I'm 34 and had hydrocephalus all my life.
