bought my house 7 years ago with 5 people living in the house and i was using average 34 kw/day with old appliances . upgraded all my appliances and two people moved out and now they say i average 67 kw/day how does that make any sense. what a scam these smart meters.

This totally is so messed up..people are right we should all shut down ...pull the pin on that meter..stop it from spinning.. And they don't COME out to do actual reading.. And that damn delivery charge is more than the use of any hydro.. Smh

We live in a granny flat and our bill went up 100$ a month. Ridiculous ! Stupid smart meters suck. We live in the country to boot.

The delivery charges are far too high. And the peak and mid-peak rates are absurd. These rates should be charged to corporations only. Not houses of working citizens that sit empty all day.

Bruce power is paying 1.5 cents a kilowatt to get rid of power to the us.... When they seem to think people like us, paying customers pay above 10 cents per kilowatt on off time! This is ridiculous ! Why are we not getting the deal! We pay taxes, live in canada and were getting screwed

I'm scared for my families future. We are hardly keeping our heads above water as it is. The asinine increase after increase over the last few years is killing us and leaving no choice but to leave Ontario. My family has lived in Ontario on family land for over 100 years. It's very sad.

This is terrible for those who are minium wage or disability the bills are way higher than a mortgage. .. then we get help on child tax and power company taked that too basically taking people's food money!!! Sickning

Prices of hydro were already outrageous and they go and raise them again. Ontarians needs to stand up, sign petitions, raise this issue to our MPPs, talk about it around water coolers, and unite to show the Ontario government enough is enough.

the so called "delivery charge" on hydro bills is higher on every single bill and is actually more than the actual electricity usage. This is pure and brazen theft. someone needs to go to jail. And hydro bills need to charge ONLY ELECTRICITY USAGE. PERIOD. no bogus "delivery charge" that is allowed to change on every single bill and it never goes down, only up up and up to the point that I am now scared to open up my bill when it arrives. Soon hydro bills will be as high as rent itself.
