There really needs to be a traffic light installed where Pleasant Valley Road (Between Cartersville & Adairsville in Bartow County) meets with Highway 41. Pleasant Valley Road is the main road leading to Clear Creek Elementary School. School Buses as well as private vehicles caring children to and from school must navigate the turn from Highway 41 each day. A traffic signal at least during school hours would be beneficial and promote safety. Travelers on Highway 41 in both directions need to be alerted to the school related traffic. Those leaving Pleasant Valley Road would be able left turns with increased safety.

I believe the county needs to rethink there decision on the traffic light. Traffic is very bad in the mornings and afternoon and for the safety the kids teachers and the families that live on this road we need this light before someone gets hurt or killed at this intersection. Its very dangerous, the traffic is very busy off and on. We need a light. Don't wait until someone gets killed . How many wrecks and how many people died before they got one in front of the buses. Alot I'll tell you.

Although I do not have a child in school there and I live further north, this is a horrible intersection during peak rush hour times. Traffic is heavy on this road and people take a risk trying to turn in and out of this road.

At the very least, please install a flashing school sign reducing speed limit to 35 mph when flashing. I see these signs at all the schools in Gordon county. Why not Bartow? Thank you for your consideration.
