Final supporters
The 2nd year Fast Track community experienced major problems with the Business Mathematics & Statistics teacher in the 1st Block of the 1st year. There were many problems with communication from both the teacher and the students' side. The students found that the teacher lacked certain communication skills in English, making an already challenging course quite daunting for new students. There were many promises made by administration to help the 1st year Fast Track students with this maths issue, but there were no clear changes made. We hope for the new students that there have been talks with the maths teacher to improve the way the class is taught but unfortunately many of us are now left in a very bad position- we were promised the chance to sit in the back of the new maths class to have the chance to re learn certain subjects but this is now made unavailable for us. We have made this petition to try to come to an agreement with the administration about this reoccurring issue that we all want to finally solve.

I spent the morning reading through the notes you all left and honestly it is just exhausting how many of us felt like we were hitting a brick wall with the department. I have been trying to get someone from the administration office to sit down with me but they just keep sending me these vague emails that do not actually fix the problem or give us the access we were promised. It is frustrating because we are just trying to learn the material but I am not giving up on this even if they keep ignoring my messages.

It cannot be that the same teacher will be teaching this year even though many failed and still have to pass the only course of the first year because of insufficient English skills! This is not appropriate for an international business school!

In addition, I would like to know why they gave us false information regarding our master study. They have told us, that we Fast-Track students should not do a pre-master study here in the Netherlands. However, it is said that we should do one, and therefore lose half a year. Please keep me updated guys!
