The Charleston County School District (CCSD) has chosen a model of 'School Choice' to improve educational achievement, decrease racial isolation, increase parent involvement, and return families to public education who might not otherwise participate. We, the undersigned, support Malcolm C. Hursey as the choice of a full Montessori school in North Charleston (CCSD North Zone). Currently, every other Zone in the school district has at least one full Montessori offering. The thousands of school-age children deserve it, and the Park Circle community embraces it.
