HMLRT ensures that Brampton will mature into a great, transit-oriented city. The thought of voting against it is ludicrous.

I don't understand how an LRT would destroy any "historical character." Light rail is a lot more historic a mode of transit than 4 solid lanes of car traffic.

HMLRT project is very much meant for Peel Region. I hope some of the disgruntled Councillors/ Regional Councillors understand the severity of the situation today ; & endorse the HMLRT surface route right upto down town core.

current ridership along main-hurontario corridor is 34500/day which will only increase in the future...this project will help many of us who often or daily take public transit to travel between the 2 cities

They have been working on this since 2008, working with the public finding the best route for everyone . We now have the funding to push this foreward but people who did not bother to get involved during the planning process want to stop it. We need this for Brampton's future Vote Yes.

Unlike defeated politicians and their friends Bramptonians don’t want to live in stone-ages. As Brampton resident for over 20 yrs, I know Bramtonians are counting on our Council to support the Hurontario-Main LRT.

I am UTM student who would find it easier if the LRT was put into place for me to get to the university and back because I live in Brampton
