Hurlie substation resubmission objection-Save Our Mearns

Serious lack of consultation and engagement with local people and questions just glossed over.

The roads to this proposal are not suitable for heavy plant traffic. Wrong proposal in wrong space.

Please stop destroying our beautiful countryside for the sake of money.

I object to the substation on the grounds of the detrimental affect to the surrounding countryside and impact on wildlife that will be fatal in their consequences.

This project must stop. It is not necessary and does not meet the needs of the Scottish people. The Scottish Government is quite within their rights to refuse this if they so choose. (As do the local authority.)

I object to the submitted plans for the Hurlie substation.

I absolutely object to this for the environmental impact a construction project of this size will have on the area. I believe the public are being misled in how essential this development actually is considering all of the health implications substations have been linked with let alone destroying an area of natural beauty.

Another sub sea link would be batter than pylons and sub stations.

I object to the proposal of the Hurlie substation and the entire Kintore to Tealing line proposed.

This infrastructure, which is required as part of a massive expansion of grid capacity, thus to allow electricity generated in Scotland to be exported for the benefit of English consumers and international investors, has been foisted upon us. The environment, landscape and well-being of rural Scotland is being permanently damaged with no benefit for us.

I regularly visit this beautiful countryside and strongly OBJECT to these plans.

I object to the substation and pylon plan due to the negative impact on the local environmental and community.
