Its a wild animal and doesn't belong to anyone - it was an accident that it got killed in the first place. Lots of people don't even stop and I feel that if the person does not want it, then let whomever wants it take it. As you said - it's better to feed someone with it rather than let it rot at the roadside. Food is expensive and it's gotten to the point you can't even afford to buy hamburger anymore.

I think it is even a shame we half to go to these steps to change some thing as this. It is common sense which people in power do not have, we need more people like the ones that has done this petition to bring light to laws such as this and other laws that have no mearet

I would have put the bear off to the side and came later to retreeve it. But, I understand why you didn't.
