Hungry Mother had some of the best bathrooms at any restaurant I've dined at. I never had to wait and they were always well-maintained.

A third restroom is not necessary. I've never seen a line waiting to use them
I've seen no more than 2 restrooms in restaurants far larger than the tHungry Mother.

It is a restaurant, not a bar, two bathrooms is more than adequate.

I've. been to Hungry Mothers on many occasions and number of bathrooms was never an issue. I was really disappointed that it closed. The food, ambiance and service were all exceptional.

I must have eaten at Hungry Mother 30 or 40 times during it's 7 year run, as did many of my co-workers in the Kendall Square office - the bathrooms were never an issue.

Dear Plumbing Board-
I eat at many restaurants in the Cambridge area that only have 2 restrooms. NO PROBLEM! (especially if they are both Unisex...)

I agree that two bathrooms is completely sufficient. I dined there multiple times without issue. I think this requirement is ridiculous.

I ate at Hungry Mother many times (and loved it). As long as the original two bathrooms were accessible for patrons with disabilities, I can see no true need for a third one.

I live just north in Melrose and many, many times made the short trip to Hungry Mother. The environment was perfect. The location cozy, comfortable and roomy too! It was the kind of neighborhood restaurant that drew people from the neighborhood, from other neighborhoods, and from other towns. There was never an issue with the number of bathrooms. Not even an (t)inkling :-)The space, the location, and the ambience fit and I and my friends so look forward to coming again to the new restaurant we hope to see opening soon. -Bob
