I was fortunate to have dined at Hungry Mother many times. Although the tables were always full and the bar busy, there was never a wait for the restroom. Cambridge is lucky to have this group of restauranteurs opening world class businesses within its borders. It would be a shame to stifle their creativity and culture.

I have been in this space over the years while it was a club with musical acts + various restaurants, I never had to wait in line to use the restrooms.

I lived 2 doors down from Hungry Mother a few years ago, and went at least a half a dozen times. I don't recall any issues with the bathroom! HM was one of my favorite restaurants of all time and I would love for them to reopen!

We loved Hungry Mother! Sometimes we couldn't get into the restaurant, but when we were there we could always get into the bathroom.

I have rarely had a problem finding a bathroom in any restaurant that offers two. Why a third? Nonsense.

All the occasions I visited HM, I never even had to wait to use the restroom. Two is enough for a small restaurant.

I was SO sad when Hungry Mother closed. It's a small, quirky space but they used it very effectively. To ask for an additional bathroom in the space is unnecessary. In the dozens of times I dined there there was never any wait for a bathroom. It would be a huge negative impact to take additional space away from the restaurant with this requirement. Please grant the variance to the space. They ran a successful business there for 7 years without impact and there is no reason to believe that they can't still do so.

Hungry Mother was my favorite restaurant in Boston for years. I donated to help them open years ago. Huge fan! Good luck with the petition.
