as a member of an appeal board in bourne ma, many cases come before which require special permits and variances. I have dined at hungry mother on numerous occasions and found the preexisting bathrooms adequate and I believe the variance should be granted as many of the conditions of the existing restaurant would create a unnecessary hardship on the owners due the size of the building.
the location has been restaurant for many years and there has never been a problem.
please help them reopen.
they do a great job

This is something that the restaurant owners should be responsible for, not the city or a planning board.

I hardly ever had to wait to use the restroom at Hungry Mother, and I went there several times a month. The times I did wait, I never waited more than a few minutes. In addition, the bathrooms were large and always, always spotless, even on a busy weekend night.

I ate at Hungry Mother several times and never had any issue with the bathrooms.
It would be an absolute tragedy if this requirement stopped the team from opening a new restaurant there.
Everything they've done has been a huge success.

I took multiple home office C level executives to Hungry Mother in its history and none ever mentioned bathroom space. However, they loved the ambiance of the space as is.

Enjoyed the space for many visits and the space should be grand fathered since it was pre-existing with the two bathrooms.

I spent a lot of time in the Hungry Mother space, and felt a great loss when it closed. I nearly always had my choice of the two restrooms when I needed one. I see no need for a third one, and am afraid much would be lost with such an addition.

Our family is 100% in favor of granting the owners of the former Hungry Mother--which rocked--a variance to allow them to open with two restrooms. We never encountered a wait.

There was never, ever a problem with just the two bathrooms. Please reconsider and allow just the two.

I dined at Hungry Mother many, many times and never found the bathrooms to be an issue. What has been an issue, is the Hungry Mother closed - what a huge loss to the community.

We loved this local restaurant and would welcome back another rendition. Please, two bathrooms worked just fine!

I've eaten at HM numerous times in groups from 2-8, including children. There was never a problem with the 2 existing bathrooms. It would be a shame to ruin the ambiance and architecture of the space. A variance should be granted as it would not create a health or safety risk to any patron.
