I'm glad I left when I did and can say I moved onto bigger and better things. It is unfortunate for the animals and everything I have heard I'm sure is sadly true. Do not support this place anymore. It will never be what it once was with Cheryl in charge.

Have had 1 and only one experience trying to adopt a puppy. Cheryl had a personal tiff with my mother at the time and euthanized the dog rather than let us adopt it. Completely trivial and cruel. She euthanized an animal to win a argument or show she was somehow mightier than thou.... Texas Pit crew seems to do more with less... Maybe they should be look to for managing the Humane Society..

I had adopted a dog 2 years ago i brought him home and gave him a bath and he was COVERED in ticks! i pulled over 100 ticks off of him! i called them and they had nothing to say about the horrendous condition my dog was in! i was just absolutely appalled!!
