Irish state bullys pregnant women and midwives! I am surprised that women dont move to England there you can make informed decisions about your body and birth! Forced c-section are not allow there. Since women have right of autonomy in whole pregnancy. So Ireland is not for pregnant women and midwives! It is too influnce by a very women hostile church. Women are used as vessels not treated like humans !

Right of making informed decisions about your health and your body is a human right for everybody -also for a pregnant woman. Why is Ireland treating pregnant women like children which cant make own decisions.Violating human rights in child birth is a crime.Forced treatment is a heavy crime-a body injury.Doctors who perform forced c-sections belong to prison and not to hospital!!!

Its disgraceful how we are stuck in an outdated system when the rest of Europe is far ahead in creating women-centric care. All we are looking for is choice and respect.

Every woman deserves to feel safe and respected when bringing a child into the world. The current system is prehistoric and makes me terrified of ever getting pregnant in this country.

My wife had a traumatic hospital experience and we just wanted a choice for our second. It is crazy that midwives can be threatened with prison for doing their jobs.

I am very disappointed that the option of having a home birth is not available to me. I cannot even have a water birth in the hospital as there is no facility for this. It is hard to believe that this is the case in this day and age.
