I hold my breath daily as I watch multitudes of children running up to/into/over this road! Many stand in the road waiting to cross, hidden from view by parked cars. I often see stragglers running to catch up their walking buddies and they chase across the road. It is ridiculous that this road doesn’t already have a safe crossing - anyone viewing the road at peak times will see the huge amount of traffic that heads in and out of this dead end.

For years there was a lollipop lady. When this was withdrawn, it was replaced by nothing! Surely the number of people who were help across the road by her was all the evidence needed to indicated there is a real problem when trying to cross this road. Of course we are a few years on now and the volume of traffic- and pedestrians- has increased, which in turn has exasperated the problem!

Very much needed for this school as it's a very busy road. People parking outside the local shop, parents picking up /dropping off, people parking for work & drive to westlands on this route, postal sorting office also on this street. Mayhem.

Truely agree, always see dangerous situations occurring and since my children have attended the school I’ve seen two accidents one involving a pregnant mother the other a pupil. The car the hit the pregnant woman didn’t even stop...

Bring back the lollipop lady or get a crossing before another child is hurt.

This needs to happen before some one gets killed.

My child has now seen 3 people and children knocked down by a car. The cars drive too fast. However a lot of the speeding traffic are other parents !

Needed as current crossing is not clear enough to motorists.

This road is an absolute nightmare, we heard a crossing was going to be put in last year but nothing has happened, do we have to lose a life before something is done? Well done for starting this petition
