The emails I am receiving from all of you describe a level of stress that is simply unsustainable. I am spending my time coordinating our next steps and contacting the administration to explain why this academic load is failing everyone involved.

Reaching this level of engagement confirms that we are all feeling the same pressure regarding these assessments. It is exhausting to keep pushing for a fair solution but seeing your feedback proves that the struggle is worth the effort.

I wld prefer aa assignment because l wldn't have the best platform to complete my online test without worrying abt Internet connection
Online test. An online test can stay within the course outline whereas an assignment may be based on the points within the course outline however may deviate a little from the content to be in our exams. An online test will take less time (preparation and execution), cause less stress (as little extra reading will need to take place whereas an assignment may involve plenty), will be better preparation for exams (covers only the content to be covered in the exam) and will be submitted / marked more efficiently.
Assignment. An online test is not fair as there have been no revision classes (tutorials) on the scope lectures, where as an assignment allows us to do research and spend more time answering questions since we are now forced to teach the rest of the syllabus to ourselves. The assignment should however not be in essay format as this does not allow us to gain part marks, and would infact decrease our chances of improving our cams. An individual assignment with different sections and questions would be the most fair option.
I'd like to vote for the assignment. As much as we were made aware of a possible upcoming test and knew that we were supposed to be assessed on lecture 15-28. I personally thought that the communication we received from the institution's management was for all the departments so no one was to be assessed at any given time and we were given the opportunity to choose between writing now and in January. Also, we didn't receive the necessary revision and one-on-one assistance to equip us for the test. Therefore an assignment would be better as we would research the topics.
Assignment because I feel it will push our marks up much more than a online test

Assignment please. Wifi at res is so unstable I cant risk doing a test online and having it cut out halfway through.
