This is a online petition in which the citizens of the Greater Hamilton Area, in respect to the agreement between SmartCentres and the City of Hamilton, arrange for an immediate shuttle service from Eastgate Square to SmartCentres located at 500 Centennial Pkwy - Hamilton, Ontario. It is in my opinion that the building of this complex was arranged and built, without the arrangement of sufficient accessibility to the general public. There has been no construction under the CN Rail bridge located on Centennial Parkway, the HSR service currently stops on a seasonal route (56 Confederation Park), and access to this complex, by a pedestrian, has consequences to the safety of the public trying to gain access without sufficient sidewalks, making the accessibility of persons with or without disabilities such as Wheelchairs, Walkers, Mobility Devices, Visually Impaired, and those of sound walking ability, the risk of injury by oncoming traffic along this highway. We wish to have the City of Hamilton and SmartCentres resolve this issue and supply a Shuttle service immediately. Sincerely, The undersigned.
