I have pulled two of my kids out of HSE Schools because I believe the extended school closure has been detrimental to ALL kids - especially those with special needs, IEP's, foster youth and those in challenging home environments. HSE has favored the privileged over the struggling. ALL kids need a CHOICE of virtual or in-person to be equitable for everyone.

Please allow students who are comfortable going to school in person get back in the building. And if we have teachers or staff who are not safe being in the building (we all have different risk profiles) please be sure they have a viable option as well too. Look at it holistically & do the right thing for everyone involved.
Training for subs needs to be revisited...if it really is only 9 at a time it is an inefficient & insufficient process that does NOT adequately meet our district’s needs.

Our kids are struggling with virtual school. Please give them the opportunity to succeed in an in-school classroom environment where their socio-emotional needs and educational needs will be better met. They are not super spreaders. Please educate our kids instead of fearing them.

please give options for all students. Including in person learning. My kids WANT to be back in person. Our family is not concerned of the virus with a 98% survival rate. We are more concerned About emotional and mental health.
Again please offer BOTH options Virtual and InPerson. #Equality
