Article IV Section II of the Hope Summit Christian Church By-Laws states the following:
A congregational meeting may be called by the Chairman of the Elders to discuss concerns or issues pertinent to the church body. This meeting may also be called when petitioned and approved by the Elders or when the petition represents a majority of the active members of the church.
This petition is to request a congregational meeting to discuss the request for Aaron Wager's resignation.
I really did not think we would see this much movement so quickly but it is clear the congregation is ready to be heard. My coffee is cold and I have been refreshing the screen for hours because finding this amount of agreement on such a difficult topic is just wild to me.

This whole thing has been handled so poorly. Let us talk about this as a church family.

Aaron has done so much for this community. If he is being forced out we need to know why.

We need to hear what is going on. It is not right to keep the congregation in the dark about Aaron.
