Support HR 1529 Marriage Access for Persons with Special Abilities Act

If you've ever had a chance to meet Diana, you would know she is an exceptional individual. I am so happy for her and Matthew and they have my full support, along with the whole differently abled community. Support this Act!

This is discrimination. Only for people with special needs but people with disabilities. Should they not be able to get married. This also interferes with their religious beliefs which is just wrong. It is also unconstitutional.

Remove the marriage penalty and help people lead fulfilling lives.

I believe a disabled couple should be allowed to get married and NOT lose any of their benefits.

My sister Noel has down syndrome, and she is with the same boyfriend since she was little. My sister is now in her late 30's. She is more mature than most adults, and she can maintain a steady relationship better than someone who does not have down syndrome. My point is, is that allowing them to be married should not even be an issue. The fact that this is an issue, is just hateful and wrong. We live in a free country, yet our rights as US citizens are pretty much non existent. I am legit ashamed and embarrassed that I live in this country. It's a damn shame !!!

They should have the freedom to be Husband & Wife Union like everyone else. Love doesn't have boundaries. It's 2019 I give them my blessing <3

Love is love. These people love each other and deserve to be treated like the people they are, as individuals and as a couple.

This is America. Equality isn’t something that should have to be fought for. It’s everyone’s right. Shame on whoever created this red tape these two currently have to deal with. Best of luck guys!
