Bergen County officials have refused to answer the pleas of our town officials to create a crosswalk from Rugen to the HP Swim Club. It seems that our only recourse at this time is to collect signatures from concerned HP citizens to show County officials how serious this matter is. In addition to the crosswalk at Rugen, others are also needed so our children can safely cross Blanche Avenue to get to Pondside Park, their friend's homes, and the Retirement home.
