These folks are victims not criminals. They're being victimized by a system that stubbornly refuses to admit that cannabis has healing properties and these patients are just trying to live their lives as well as possible. And that's a basic principle that America was founded upon.

The woman is sick, not a criminal. Her growth is for personal consumption not monetary gain. We should support her basic human right to take measures to self medicate in order to assure a better quality if life. My father taught me to help those who need it, not knock them down.

I'm disabled myself suffering from Post Polio Syndrome and I get a lot of pain in my joints back and general weakness as though I've got polio again. I know how much cannabis helps my symptoms to be less severe so I can be as mobile as possible without suffering terrible side effects from addiction which other medicines have. I and so many other people suffering from bad health ought to be able to use and produce their own madicen - cannabis - which works!

This is a disgrace , how can this lady be a criminal for living a much better quality of life? The UK policy on cannabis is a joke. I also use cannabis for crohn's disease ,if that make me a criminal as well then so be it. I am cannabis proud.

We in the UK are behind so many countries when it comes to drug laws. Cannabis has been proven worldwide to be a legitimate medicine. At this stage it has become a matter of patients being denied their human right to health by their own government. It is important we change this law now.

No one should be convicted for trying to maintain a normal life. The fact that this is even entering court is a deplorable act on the counties behalf. This woman is going to be ill for the rest of her life and you want to prosecute her for growing a plant... despicable.
