I am a resident of Golibar Road, Jawahar Nagar, Khar (East), Mumbai representing 15,000 households who are being subjected to atrocities by a Builder M/s. Shivalik Ventures, who has used fraudulent methods to gain rights for redevelopment and rehabilitating slum dwellers. Our own Chief Promoters and Secretaries of the societies in the area have forged signatures to show that the residents have given consent to the Builder. There is a criminal case lodged against them in the High Court and the Honorable High Court (Criminal) has issued an Order on 15-09-2010 to the Nirmal Nagar Police Station to investigated the forgery. In spite of this, the S. R. A. Authorities and the Dy. Collector (Encroachment Division) without considering the fact that there is forgery involved in the scheme, they demolished 45 houses of Ganesh Krupa Society. Besides, the double Bench of the High Court (Civil) Dr. D. Y. Chandrachud and Chief Justice Mohit Shah have passed judgments in favour of Builders and allowed the Builders and their accomplices to enforce demolitions.
