This bill will punish the majority of law abiding hunters and the dogs that have no concept of fences. Unchecked coyote populations cost livestock producers dearly. Bad bill.

This law is the fastest way to upset the farming community. Ask around and see how many people loose baby calves and lambs to coyotes it will surprise you and it cost guys money when that happens. Coyotes are predators and nobody should be punished for keeping the population in check..

Why should everyone pay for just a few bad hunters dogs running a coyote is the best music your ears will ever here don’t kill a tradition that has been around for many years who will a farmer get to kill a coyote that has taken money out of his pocket by killing a new born calf or sheep coyotes multiply so fast I’m sure you will have a bigger problem in a few years

I petition this bill on multiple reason. If the state and people want the coyote population to sky rocket, the bird, rabbit, deer and other wildlife to deplete, then that is what this bill will do. I’ve hunting with dogs my whole life and I do it safely and respectfully. It’s a big part of my life and one of my favorite hobbies. It’s an attack on our way of life and hobbies. We don’t attack other people’s hobbies like cyclists being on the road. Please hear us hunters out and don’t sign the bill. Thanks for your time.

Hunting is a very important part of our heritage and hunting dogs have to be free to chase their game. That coon will not stop at a fence.

This way of life should not be compromised by a small few of the sportsman. There has been talk of farmers supporting this bill, but as a small livestock farmer I totally support hunters in my area that help to keep the population of predators and pests in check!
