The hunters are doing the public a favor by keeping the coin popular down. If they too many coin destroying their props, they would complain about that too.

I disagree with this bill. I have a cow heard and we used to lose a baby calf every so often. Since the hunters have been hunting on our property it has helped with the death lose to coyotes. So please do not pass this bill!

Coyotes are beginning to colonize in areas that they have never been present, they reproduce more quickly than their close relative the wolf. A bold coyote will attack a human just as a wolf would. This bill would contribute to an increase in their presence, and as a result elevate the risk of loss of livestock. As a farming state, I’m not sure why we would want to stack another card against the local farmer? They aren’t aware they are crossing your property line when they are stalking your calve, toy poodle, cat or possibly even a small child..... nor is the hound pursuing it. When the coyotes, coon or deer have ransacked your property because lawful hunting of these animals is no longer allowed, will you call for help? Would you allow a bloodhound to cross your property line to track down a criminal? If yes, how could you be in favor of this bill?

I disagree with this bill. I have so many coyotes around my property that I fear for my non-hunting dogs. Hunting dogs need to follow where the coyote/colon goes. They can also come get the mountain lion and the bobcat from our area.

I hunt coyotes with hounds and I have a cow calf operation and I hunt responsible and keeping the coyotes managed in a respectable number is very important to alot of farmers so I am totally for hunting with hounds to manage coyotes in iowa

I 100% disagree with this bill. If my hounds can’t finish there hunt and pursuit of there game. Then the same should be for bow hunters or any deer hunters. If a wounded deer crosses a fence line then the track should stop right at the fence.

Our dogs can not read property signs and they are made to do a job and if that animal goes to a different property then we can’t help that.

How are you supposed to contain a dog from crossing a property line hot in the trail of a coyote/coon etc. ?

putting this into affect would ruin hound hunting for generations to come. most hound hunters are law biding citizens but dogs cant see property lines either
Can't control the dog like a human.
