Hound hunting and the use of dogs to hunt has been a fundamental partnership since wolves and humans started working together. Yes we need to ensure we are good land stewards but this bill is NOT the way to go about it.

I farm with my father in southeast Iowa. The group of guys who hound hunt around us are always respectful of our ground. We welcome them to hunt our acres to keep the coyote population down. We have around 100 head of cattle, if this bill passes through I am concerned we will be over run with wild dogs. These hunters are doing us farmers a great service.

Preserve the heritage of hunting game animals.

This is absurd. Hunting has been this way for centuries states just trying to get rich off of deer

I understand the concern, but this is not a practical law and will cause more problems than it fixes. Going down this path will further threaten hunters abilities to coincide with non hunters, and will discourage healthy communication and discussion regarding the topic.

I am against this bill. This will destroy people’s lives and there career. The predator control will go through the roof we won’t have any pheasants, quail, and rabbits. It will get out of control and farmers Will be loosing more cattle than they already do
