Gerrard Houllier has presided over the worse set of results of any aston villa manager since the relegation season of 1986/7. He has had at his disposal a squad of players who have performed well over the last 3 years - and in addition has been granted £24m in the January transfer window - with only a nominal improvement in results. His actions recently have shown he is out of touch with supporters -and his low opinion of Aston Villa - shows he doesn't understand the club. No one likes calling for a manager to be replaced - but 6 wins in 24 games should not be acceptable to Aston Villa, its Board - or its supporters
