Scandalous to be increasing prices like this on the workforce . Everything is shut at the campus because of the pandemic . Yet , the very men and women that stay there have kept the wheels turning at hinkley point . They must be making a fortune the anyway . 1500 x 120 a week is £180,000 . That’s before any extras are purchased . I support the cause for my brothers and sisters .

I’m local so don’t need these facilities personally but this is hugely unfair. Bad timing when people are away from home, during a pandemic and worried about their jobs and their families. All the facilities aren’t even open! Very crass :-(

Been here 18 months thats a lot of money for a room and get charged to park my car bleeding us dry

I find it insulting and greed. I am also aware that we are a captive audience as there are very few places to stay, when we take a holiday we are forced to pay the full price in order to save our room, I have been on furlough and have paid £460 for 3 weeks so I have somewhere to go back to when I return to site next week. There seems to be a money grabbing agenda with HOST and they seem reluctant to compromise with me as a single person who has mentioned this to them. There are many people I have spoken to who feel the same. Everything has a price I am aware of but this company are above and beyond greed.

It's ridiculous how much its going up when I started last year it was £20 per night now this year its £29 plus &+£1 parking making it a 50% increase how is that fair. Its just pure greed

I could understand an inflation rise but this is ridiculous.

Please ask Host to reconsider the price increase

Another price rise? It feels like we're being taxed to work. It was bad enough when Somerset Larder took over the food at the campus.

They need to be reminded that we are here for host,not them for us. Without us all putting Hinkley Point first and putting our own 'lives on the line ,they wouldn't be open.. Disgusting what there trying to pull off.. no facilities open for the best part of a year and they pull this one on the loyal customer.. it's only been a couple of months since the last price hike .. power in numbers , disgusting . Host should have the contract cancelled ..

To attract more employees to the Hpc development, the accommodation needs to be at a affordable fare rate , plus meals , otherwise men women young and senior workers, will be attracted to other contracts nearer to there homes ,

It is disgusting that the price they are charging for a room. When travel lodge is nearly half the price. And much better facilities such as WiFi, king size bed, much bigger tv, and all so a bath..

Hello, As a long stay resident I’m not happy with the price increase at Hinkley campus, the price increase does not reflect the service provided. Our rooms are cleaned less and most of the facilities are not on offer. Thanks Matt
