By signing this petition, you support equestrian trails in Marion County, Indiana. The Equestrian trails for Marion County organization are respectfully asking for support for a multi-use trail to include horseback riders, cyclist and hikers throughout Marion County and connecting these trails to other parks and greenspaces.

One of the purposes of the Marion County Comprehensive plan is to put in place a systematic inventory, analysis and assessment of the park system that helps address unmet needs, now and into the future (p.14). The plan further states on (page 24) it is committed to programs, services, amenities and greenspace for all. Everyone deserves access to safe, well-maintained and welcoming parks, and green space.

Equestrian trails along with multi-use trails will fulfill the goals stated above. By including equestrian trails everyone will have access to parks and greenspace.
