Climate change is affecting all of Australia and action is needed now.
We are asking Hornsby Shire Council to join 45 councils around Australia and pass a motion to divest from fossil fuels. This means
changing banks. Australia’s big 4 banks have loaned $70 billion to fossil fuel projects since 2008.
By investing with banks that don’t loan to the fossil fuel industry, Council will be supporting the much-needed transition to renewable energy
and a safer future.
