You're telling me Hornblower isn't affordable, but Michael Bay and others keep getting money thrown at them to make avoidable crap. God forbid, something with quality acting, costumes, sets and storylines gets produced. We're running out of time to do this with Gruffudd - please let us not miss this opportunity...

I know this series costs a lot of money to make. However, when a series such as this one is stopped because of the cost, the entire idea of producing quality entertainment suffers. We end up having to be satisfied with less and less. And lets face it squarely, Americans should be getting tired of all the second rate stuff. Bring back quality and hang the cost. Bring back Hornblower.

In the words of the star, Ion Gruffaund, "people are attracted to the character because he's not a hero in the traditional sense. He's not a natural leader, he's just a man with a very bright mind. He's compassionate, he hates injustice and he will stand up and fight when he's pushed to the limit."
Its time to bring Horatio Hornblower back and continue the story!
Please bring this series back. Younger people are now getting into this, and it would be perfect timing to catch back up with Ioan later in Horatio's career.

A&E used to mean Arts & Entertainment, a true competitor to WGBH and PBS and there was no better example than Hornblower. Come on, A&E, lift yourselves up from the sewer.
