As most of you know Max and Jake have A-T (atcp.org), a very rare and fatal genetic disease. A-T makes everything they do More difficult, and that's why this petition is being started, in an effort to make some things a little less hard. Recently, Jake's school has been neglecting to provide him the care he needs, putting him in harms way. Care that was stated in contract he'd receive and care that no one was notified was being taken away. Though these issues have been rectified for Jake there is an effort to ensure it doesn't happen again to him or any other students. I realize by now you all are probably sick of hearing about campaigns, but I hope this is one you can all stand behind. The issues Jake faced can positively be used as a platform to advocate for others. Every student deserves a safe environment where they can thrive, one that creates a meaningful and lasting impact on their lives. To ensure no child is mistreated again, please take a minute out of your day to sign this petition and show Neenah Joint School District that people are watching and care about the well being of all their students

This is unacceptable for any child to have to endure. Time for action to protect Max and Jake and All children. If need be, need to go to top media stations to bring more awareness.

Former student and current parent of 2. I fully support the investigation as this school has overdosed my younger sister more than once on her prescribed meds, given my mother a very hard time regarding my brother and her hearing issues. I am not surprised that they would ignore or brush aside an incident like this, or even flip it around.

I hope the school listens. As a mom as a special needs child, this makes me very ill to know it has come to this.

As an educator, I am appalled!!! Ever student has the right to an education that accepts them in a classroom and provides opportunity of growth in the envirorment.

Communication is key specially when dealing with health. No one has the right to remove a service without notice. Care for another should be respected.
