I have worked in retail for 6 and a half years and can confirm that once money has changed hands it is your legal obligation to provide the said service or product to the customer as the completion of the transaction is considered entry into a binding contract. Honour your customers. End of!

Retailers in shop and online have the right to refuse to sell at marked price but have to take item off sale for 24hours

i placed 2 orders within 10 mins of each other as i did mine for my monsters and then a friend was having problems so did one for her and thought as i was having to pay for delivery again i would get one for charity ! thought it might really help a family out ! i rang up at 9:30am that morning to find out if i could get the orders put together so i wasn't paying 2 sets of postage, the lady couldn't do anything but they knew it was there ! "price mistake" was told it wasn't a mistake, and had terms and conditions on the items i.e. amount one person could order and things like that, i asked to speak to manager/superviser was told that they were not in and they would call me back within 3 hours ! I'm still waiting ! my orders are still saying processed and accepted, then this afternoon i got the email to say that they did not have the items to complete my order, when i rang up as there was no refund, i was told that my orders was canceled but has now been accepted and will be with me by 23rd jan, she checked and i asked 4/5 times that my order was being sent out and being honoured and she said yes!! we will see !! I'm in on the 23rd anyway so we will see if they are delivered other wise i won't be happy !!!!

This is disgusting, you set a price,I ordered. You should sell at the price you advertised it at.
Google it. Mr tesco or Mr Sainsbury's have just as much right to refuse to honour a price as littlewoods or very, spend some time reading consumer law and you may be surprised to discover the customer is always right thing is entirely crap.

Wrong. A shop has the right to refuse to honour a price as much as an online retailer. Do yourself a favour and google some facts. Otherwise you look stupid.
