Seeing one hundred people sign this for William brings tears to my eyes because he has spent a lifetime giving to this city without asking for anything back. I am going to print this list and show him exactly how many people remember his courage during the Blitz.

My grandfather survived the bombs in Coventry so he could spend his life healing others and he deserves this acknowledgment on his centenary. We are just a few names away from hitting our target and showing the palace how much his legacy matters to us.

Absolute legend. He deserves this more than anyone I can think of right now.
So important we remember the people who lived through the Blitz. Hope he gets the recognition he deserves.
He saved so many lives. Its the least we can do for him.
Hero. Give the man his telegram from her majesty he earned it 10 times over.
A true hero of the city. Coventry wouldnt be the same without the work he did back then. Please make this happen for his 100th!

JUST DO IT already. A hundred years is a massive milestone for a man who gave so much to this country.
