I agree wholeheartedly to have the field named after Coach Dobbs. He impacted and influenced many young men while at Tivy. My husband was one of them. God bless his legacy.

I was truly blessed to have Coach Charlie Dobbs as my coach and mentor he has taught me so much in life and I truly believe that if it wasn’t for him I would not have been as successful as an athlete but more importantly as a person. Coach was my coach in Jr. high and when I got to high school he was the head varsity track coach he was my coach and mentor from 7th grade until I graduated high school! I strongly recommend and support Coach Charlie Dobbs and he is most definitely deserving of having the new school building named in his honor!
