He was my high school track coach and was the absolute best!! Always encouraging and pushing me to do my best. Just talked with him a couple of weeks ago when he showed up at my Uncle’s funeral. He is still the most caring person.

A very good man who lead some great Antler football teams. I don't keep stats on football, but it would not surprise me if he lead the most successful Antler Football teams, ever.
Does anyone know? I know we went to Bi-District a few times in the late 70's and early 80's. Those stinkin' Bay City Black Cats.

This would be a great honor! I still remember how hard the football practice was the day the district informed him he could no longer chew his tobacco...he was a little extra “salty” that afternoon

Kerrville has never had a more deserving person to be honored like this, than coach Dobbs! He positively impacted more people in one year, than most people do in a lifetime. I pray all the time that my kids are blessed enough to have a mentor like coach Dobbs in their life!
