I was not aware of any other memorial for 9/11 until someone posted the one from Russia I commented on the memorial not knowing all the facts. Then I stumbled across an article about the 5 worst 9/11 memorials all of them were unsettling but the flight 93 memorial took it to a whole other level. Who is in charge of this awful thing and WHY are they insisting on have this thing made changing the name does not change its meaning. I think it a insult to all the HEROES an their FAMILIES and to add insult to injury they are including the name of the terrorist. My mind can't process how we as a country allow this to happen. Now that I have knowledge of this and will pass this knowledge to others so that this TRAVESTY never happens.

The morning 9/11/01 was happening and I heard a plane had gone down in Shanksville. PA--I knew that brave Americans had sacrificed themselves to save Washington D.C. The symbol of this bloody ideology must be eradicated from the world.

I'm outraged that any architect would try to honor the people responsible as well as their murderous cause. Whose side is he (or they) on? A travesty!

No one is fooled by this. It is a red crescent pointing to Mecca. How did Murdoch do this and get away with it? Using sugar maples is so obvious. That this was allowed is frightening and corrupt. A disgrace. It exacerbates the pain of 9/11 and ruins the memory of the heroes of that flight and what they did. Money is no object when it comes to them and what they did for our country, their country. No part of the design needs to "remind us that Islam is peaceful". Spend whatever it takes to plant trees into a closed circle design. That's the easiest fix since we're stuck with the crescent. An overhaul would be best but closing the circle is the least you can do. It's the right thing to do.
