This was military property. Giving back this small portion, to an adjoining, existing cemetery should be a straightforward positive decision.

This is a no-brainer, let's make it happen for our Veterans and their families who want to rest in northern IL. I want to thank everyone who worked on this important issue. Allons!

Please do the right thing and honor all that served our Country by allowing the transfer of this land for additional cemetery property. Lake County Illinois Veterans deserve this final resting place.

What a great way to show our support for our Vets. I am proud to say I am one of them. Transferring the small acreage to the VA takes the responsibility away from the County.

Vet’s deserve this expansion and we and our families and friends WILL REMEMBER how you vote on this issue; we all know the requested land is vacant and serves NO PURPOSE currently??
