Our history is too costly to let it be plowed under! It can never be regained once it is gone!

Keep the money grubbing hands off out heritage, leave the Battlefields alone. These are hallowed grounds that should be preserved, not destroyed and defiled.

Our heritage is the foundation DNA that makes us what we are. My ancestors fought in the American Revolution and the American Civil War. My immediate family has had someone serving in uniform continuously since 1937 and I am closing in on 39 years in the Army / Army Reserve. We need to save our "Hallowed Grounds" so that our children and our children's children will not forget how our country developed into the nation it is today and whose shoulders they stand on.

Our History has to be preserved and our Veterans never forgotten. I'm a Vietnam Veteran and feel that nthe Veterans have been getting a raw deal lately. This is a great cause.

America needs to preserve this battleground in it's present state. Keep Hotels, vendors and the like out of it. This has been preserved to honor the soldiers that shed blood there. LEAVE IT ALONE!!!!

Please preserve the battlefields they are a part of OUR HERITAGE. If they aren't preserved the future generations will not know about the War Between the States and the real truth and cases of the War. The South wanted their INDEPENDENCE. Slavery wasn't the main cause it was down on the list. So the REAL truth has to be told not the Northern point of view, but the South's point of view for a change.
