Tome Seaver and Gil Hodges brought the Mets out of farce and made them into Champions, peas pay them their due with statues of them in the lobby or at least on the promenade outside!

But most of all Gilbert Hodges,
Manager of the N.Y. Met's World Champions 1969, a statue in Citi Field because the H.O.F. does not want to put him in, It's only fitting.

This is a no brainer to me. And while you're making the Hodges and Seaver, Casey Stengel and Johnny Murphy should also be considered for statues.
