We have a long history, or should I say, my husband Mark Gehres has had a very long history with Mick. A wonderful, funny and long friendship.

Happily signing this petition on behalf of Mick Founts who created some many programs and opportunities for so manny people. Our youth, who might of made mistakes, but were not mistakes themselves, were always cared for and after by this man. When others turned their backs on these children, Mick never hesitated to make them feel like they were worthy of not only an education, but love and compassion. Thank you, Mick Founts, for all you have done for our children and us adults, too. I wouldn't be where I am today professionally and politically without your encouragement and support.
Please join me in supporting this amazing man and the legacy that he has created. I'd like nothing more than to see his name adorning one of the SJCOE buildings.
