Ok... childish i know how this sounds. I'm a school child -14 and I am weighed down not by the books on my back but by the burden of those books. Homework for any school child is horrid. If you are an adult, surely you remember doing homework and walking to school with weary eyes as you spent ages doing it the night before. Appealing to parents speak to your child and ask them about the homework. Ask them to show you there mathematics homework and you think honestly to yourself do you remember doing that. Times have changed and children are becoming wiser and better educated.

I'm not saying homework has no benefits but there needs to be a national limit to what can be set and how much. I got 3/4 pieces of homework a night and I hate having to go to a teacher apologising to them and praying that i don't get a detention. We spend between 7 and 8 hours at school and we come home to 2 hours more. You might joke and say "everyone must do their homework" but what I'm trying to do is get this petition signed by enough people to spark up even the smallest slither of attention from the government as kids are humans do... And we have limits before we reach our breaking poin
