Local newspapers feature local news and information but there are no local cartoons. J. Timothy Quirk is a long time resident of Torrington, CT and his cartoons are in other newspapers in New York and Nebraska yet it is not in his hometown paper. I like his positive perspective of our city, it is good for the arts, entertainment and business community, and I want a local cartoon in my hometown newspaper.
