Homer respect the Vote!“Homer grows for Alaska” That is what the headline should read on all news papers, Colorado ran out of product on with in the first few days of opening! We here in Homer are in a unique position to fill that need for Alaska. Anchorage has extreme restriction on growing and manufacturing to industrialist, Soldotna chickened out wanting to see others do it first. I am not afraid to be the town that will supply the sate and takes in more tourist along with it. If Homer grows for Alaska our economy will boom, Following the state rules not adding more, there is no reason this could not happen.
We the undersigned call on the City Government of Homer Alaska, The zoning board, cannabis commission, and planning commission to immediately implement federal law 21 USC 860, section 841(a)(1) of this title or section 856 of this title. The state of Alaska minimum requirements for zoning with out adding any further restrictions, requirements, or language to those minimum requirements.
Following the state minimum zoning requirements we call on the City Government of Homer Alaska to immediately implement out-right use of all land with in the city limits of Homer, and under the control of the city of Homer for use in limited cannabis cultivation.
Following the state minimum zoning restriction and federal law 21 USC 860, section 841(a)(1) of this title or section 856 of this title we demand the city zone for unlimited number of retail and licenses. We demand at least 15 areas zoned areas for retail license operations in the following areas; at least 1 area along Pioneer Ave, at least 5 license areas along the spit, at least 3 areas on the bypass, at least 3 areas on ocean drive, At least 1 area in old town, At least 1 area on Katchemac drive, and at least 1 area out east.
We call on the City Government of Homer Alaska to allow an unlimited number of Limited cultivation licenses, Unlimited number of Retail license, and a minimum or 10 manufacturing and testing facilities licenses, with no one person company, corporation or LLC. holding more than 3 of the manufacturing or testing licenses. So long as those license holders can follow the State of Alaska minimum zoning requirements and federal law 21 USC 860, section 841(a)(1) of this title or section or 856 of this title
