WHOA is submitting an Urban Deer Hunt proposal to the WVDNR to happen within our community, fall of 2017.

WHOA has not provided any supporting research or data an urban deer hunt would effectively reduce the risks, identified by WHOA, Lyme disease, auto accidents, and damage to foliage. There are other methods to address these concerns without introducing the costs and safety risks an urban deer hunt would bring to our community.

The completed petition will be presented to the WVDNR and Jim Justice, Governor of West Virginia.
