I saw on facebook one post of a homeless guy and his efforts to make sure that the people stuck in poverty, who lost their homes and have no support have the rights to be helped,to be acknowledged and most of all to be seen as human beings.
We need to treat homeless people like people. It's not too much to give them respect, dignity, love. None of these cost a thing and I believe it's what we are supposed to do. Be the hands and feet of Jesus, help his brothers and sisters as if they were your own, because they are.

Maybe the "powers that be" need to be homeless for a month...in the winter, to appreciate what these people go through. To do this to our Veterans is a sin, shame on this country

Hoimelessness is one of the ills of our society that we can't continue to ignore. Every person should have a bed to sleep in and a roof over their head every night. As a society, we need to address that failure.
