All US schools below the colledge level must have either a professional security firm provide an armed guard or the local/state police posts a guard(s) on school property. No less than One guard exterior and One interior, preferrably one armed guard per 3600 square feet of floor space and one guard per two exterior door(s). This will reinforce any assult weapon ban because a pistol can still be used. Since terrorism is minimized, the majority of Homeland security manpower shall be shifted to school systems for budget purposes.
