Stop the high rise building in Wandsworth town. The infrastructure isn't there to support this and let's avoid making this gorgeous suburb a concrete jungle.

Understand the need for more housing in London, but this development is far too imposing and there currently appears to be no transport provision for the dramatic increase in resident numbers.

The local Council have twice rejected this proposed scheme for very good cause - there is no reason whatsoever for the Mayor to "call in" the proposal, particularly as the latest version of the proposal is even more damaging to the local community, and would place even more strain on the local train services (which are not adequate currently) than the previous applications which have been already rejected.

For all the reasons why it was rejected at local planning and for reasons of pure greed now. To increase the % of affordable housing to 35% to tick the box they need to increase the height which goes against all the reasons why we are at this stage. Plus a nice CIL fee

I have lived in the area for over 50 years and have seen many changes, not all for the better. The idea of enclosing the area with high rises is idiotic and detrimental to the area

This is a ridiculous idea, the Tonsley's and surrounding area would become enclosed with hardly any outlook, there isn't much now with all the developments at present

A poor scheme that is now even worse, more dense and still far too much for the local infrastructure to handle. The Mayor is putting quick wins on "affordable" housing over sensible planning considerations. Shame on him.

There is no way the local transport network can mange any further increase in volume of traffic. The huge number of new builds along the river has already crippled the existing infrastructure.

Im apposed to this development going ahead. I have nothing against regeneration but I really believe this application hasn't been thought through for many reasons including lack of amenities , the impact on the locals, the increased pollution and visual aspect will ruin the skyline.

As a concerned resident in the local community I find it very troubling that the Mayor of London has sought to overturn the decision of the council in Wandsworth and to proceed with this development. There are a number of valid concerns that were raised by the members of the community and which still stand. If the Mayor sees fit to override the decision of the council then he should do so having adequately addressed the concerns raised rather than simply choosing to exercise his authority; an authority granted to him by the people of Greater London and to whom he is answerable.

I have voiced my opposition to the proposed development on a number of occasions and am deeply concerned that the Mayor of London should choose to override the decision of the Wandsworth Council, which was subject to a due process, and based on the concerns voiced by the local residents. I still have these concerns and do not believe that they have been adequately addressed, in fact the new proposal only makes for graver situation and impact on the local amenities and enviroment.

The tower block will be out of proportion with the Tonsleys, both in terms of size and construction. It will be a permanent eye sore which won't stand the test of time by design.
I strongly oppose increasing the through traffic on old York road, already a busy and congested high street with additonal traffic for the new development. The train link will become even more stressed and further enhancements will be required to the station.
The development will also overlook my garden at 41 Tonsley Place and intrude on our privacy.
It is hard to imagine being more opposed to a development more than this. We have already voted and the council has already agreed it is utterly inappropriate.
