Outrageous that the London Mayor is thinking of overturning a decision taken locally that this development is out of all proportion to the surrounding environment in terms of height and density.

Am all for creating new homes -- just not another tower block. Something a bit more in line with the buildings around would be great.

By all means build more apartments at Homebase in Wandsworth but don't build them so high they block all the sunlight from the existing development at Riverside West, or so dense that you are in effect, building the slums of tomorrow. In addition, his development will overload Wandsworth Town station even more and is contrary to Wandsworth's own planning regulations.

I have already written to the Mayor objecting to this application. I feel that Mayor Khan's intention as it stands is not in favour of Wandsworth Town area as a whole and our Community, therefore I VERY much oppose his decision of taking over this application.
If he is not willing to act in the Community,'s favour, he should hand over the matter to those who do CARE.

The station cannot cope at the moment, and this will be disastrous for commuters. I am sick of having to let 2-3 trains go in order to be able to get on in rush hour, and then it is crowded and crushed beyond what is comfortable. Apart from all the other reasons raised, this would cause a very serious problem to which there is no solution.

It would be horrific if this scheme was accepted given it was refused by the council twice as per their stipulations and requirements under Wandsworth planning laws.
Also leaves everyone open to huge lawsuits in the future
