I do not want a Tower built at Homebase in Wandsworth

It is disheartening that the Major plan is to simply ignore the will of the local government and the local people to cosmetically hit affordable housing quotas. Make no mistake, affordable housing has been opportunistically used by the developers while the primary objective is profit maximisation. the plan is now even more overbearing than the one that was already rejected. Mr Major, leadership is about doing the right thing, in consultation and in respect of the will of the local community. Not trying to enforce blindly an important agenda such as affordable housing, no matter what.

Local council represents local people's wishes which should be respected when planning is granted. Another tower block and high density accommodation in this area is not appropriate for current infrastructure.

Disgraceful that the mayor feels the need to undermine our local council. Think about all the overcrowded schools, Doctors, dentists etc before you try and build yet another huge eyesore.

I oppose the development at the scale proposed and the decision of Wandsworth Council should stand. There is insufficient infrastructure investment, moreover the scale and fit is disrespectful to the area. This is a short-termist agenda which does not address housing shortages and will lead to further issues around trains, schools and healthcare to name a few.

The Mayor should respect the decision of our Council which was made representing the people of Wandsworth. Or does he believe local councils are not competent to make these decisions?

I agree, there is too much development for the infastructure of this area and the Mayor should respect the decision of Wandsworth Council. The local transport/train service is already busting at the seams. It is simply not possible to accommodate more people with the present level of support infrastructure in this corner of Wandsworth.

I am totally opposed to this development and support all of the comments made. The area simply does not have the infrastructure to support yet another development; especially the commuter train service which is already overwhelmed. It is already near impossible to get an appointment with a GP. Our local schools are at maximum capacity. Mr Mayor, you should respect the decision of Wandsworth Council to reject previous applications. This area should be awarded conservation status instead.

A totally unnecessary development that will destroy another corner of London, all for the greed of developers and those who wish to pass them off. The infrastructure is already unable to cope, building further entrances will make no difference to getting on a train in peak hours. Come on Mr Khan, you are a smart man, use some common sense and realise that the area is unable to accommodate yet another vast development.

This is too much development for the infastructure of the area and the Mayor should respect the decision of Wandsworth Council. I am strongly opposed to this development and this is clearly an area which should recieve Conservation status before it is completely destroyed by overcrowding and overdevelopment.

I support all the comments, specifically with regard to the current local infrastructures and services which are already significantly overwhelmed. Also the fact that the size has been ignored following previous objections and totally disproportionate to the area These areas become a dormitory/ghost town of commuters who work outside the area, rather than a cohesive community and the general overdevelopment of the area without any consideration to the long term consequences is extremely short sighted.

We don't have the infrastructure for this to be built. It will also destroy the conservation area of The Tonsleys.

The permission should be refused as the development is just too big for the site. The Mayor should respect the decision of Wandsworth Council and the comments from local residents as infrastructure needs a massive improvement BEFORE this proposed development goes ahead.

Stop the development- in particular our trains can't cope with more people, especially at commuters hours

I object to this development on the grounds of the strain it will place on local infrastructure and amenities.

This is a terrible development for such a lovely area with history and a heart. Local infrastructure cannot handle this as it's already over stretched

I strongly object to this development for all the reasons already stated to Wandsworth council on density, height, infastructure impact and on the conservation . Respect the councils decision to decline and the strength of feeling of the Wandsworth town community

Wandsworth already has the highest predicted development of new builds in london in the next ten years. Where is the infrastructure to support this? We need more schools, more trains, buses and a better road system before this happens.
