Battersea needs industrial areas not just more and more new blocks of flats for an increased population which the infrastructure is having trouble with supporting as it is!

This would ruin my view from my flat.

A ridiculous proposal blighting the views for many! A totally inappropriate scheme!

No common sense demonstrated by Wandsworth Council on this and many other similar projects in this area of the borough despite the endless sensible objections raised.

Do we really need more flats building - which will only increase the number coming to the area - which is seriously overpopulated/congested. The Homebase in York Road has already been demolished and being built into flats and the moved Royal Academy of Dancing - parking round there taken up by all the builders. Also heard that B&Q will be going to be turned into flats. What will happen to the jobs of the Homebase staff ??

Really really do not want another high rise. This end of Battersea is being ruined.

The original decision by the council should be respected, building a tower block here and with the additional people and traffic that it will bring will ensure that this area is slowly turned into an overpopulated, soulless area.

This tower goes against the redevelopment of the area

This proposed building is far too high and will take light from surrounding flats. York Road is practically at a standstill at rush hour and cannot take more traffic. Trees must remain.

This proposal is not suitable for this site and goes against the Development Plan for the area

There is no need for another new development in the area when there are several still under construction. I also feel this will put considerable strain on the local transport options and local amenities

We don’t have the transport infrastructure in Wandsworth Town to support all of the new flats/homes that are already being built. It’s already a nightmare getting on a train during rush hour.

Big tower blocks are ugly and can be dangerous. Homebase has been in the local area for decades. Provides a good service and jobs for locals.

I sign this petition to object to this overpowering over sized development. Most of these flats will be bought by overseas investors and the few affordable homes will be bought by struggling individuals. The money given for the new station entrance will be paid by the purchasers not the developer. Stop demanding money for council projects. Tax overseas purchasers and this will make more homes affordable.

We would like to sign the petition opposing the building of the tower at Homebase Wandsworth. Many thanks. I have also written to the M.P.

As a local resident I don't feel the local facilities and transport can handle further residents and the tower will not be in keeping with the area. The site should be used for something that benefits local residents e.g. swimming pool or kids play area or at the very least traditional looking homes

As a local resident I don't feel the local facilities and transport, which is already stretched, can handle further residents. This tower will also have a huge effect on Smuggler's way blocking sunlight to properties in autumn/winter.
